Job Description:
RISC Staffing is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Radiology Technologists to join our PRN (as needed) team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients in various healthcare settings. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations on patients using X-ray and other imaging modalities as required.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, while maintaining adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process clearly and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately and confidentially.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Radiology Technologist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System).
- Additional certification in specialized imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, Ultrasound) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a PRN or staffing capacity.
- Experience with C-Arms of at least 1 year required.
