JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Echo Tech you’ll be responsible for performing vascular examinations in cardiology, operate ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for procedure, and transfer images appropriately.
As a Cardiac Sonographer with the Heart Center, you will collaborate with pediatric critical care medicine physicians and hospitalists. Providing high quality pediatric and congenital cardiac sonograms based on national best practices and standards. A standard scanning protocol will be provided. Inpatient settings include NICU, PICU, CICU, cardiac stepdown, CVOR, Cath labs and general pediatrics; Outpatient setting includes multiple UT Health pediatrics cardiology clinics throughout the greater Houston area.

Standard Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Shift Hours: 07:30 AM – 4:00 PM
