Meet our Radiation Safety Officer , Sara Freyding

Sara, with over 7 years of experience serves as the Radiation Safety Officer, with a degree from San Jacinto College in Medical Radiography. She has experience in Radiology in different settings ranging from Urgent Care, to Imaging clinics, Hospitals, and Surgery Centers. Over the last years she has worked at First Health of the Carolinas Moore Regional, Quality Urgent Care, Houston Methodist Hospital and more. Sara’s knowledge of radiation safety and proper procedures, ensures that your facility will have dedicated expertise consulting and state regulated equipment.

We establish and oversee all operating and safety procedures regarding radiation and ensure they are current and in conform with §289.226 of the 25 Texas Administrative Code Under the Texas Regulations for Control of Radiation.

We will ensure individual monitoring devices are properly used by occupationally-exposed personnel, records kept and timely notifications are made as required by §289.203 of the Texas Department of Health regulations.
